Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 May 2026
DutyPills.com is an information-only reference site. We aim to operate with the minimum amount of personal data possible. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you visit the site, why it is processed, and the rights you have over it.
What data we process
DutyPills.com does not require you to create an account, log in, or submit personal information to read articles. The data we may process is limited to:
- Standard server access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, HTTP status, user agent string and referrer. These logs are used for security monitoring, fraud prevention and basic operational diagnostics.
- Information you voluntarily submit when contacting us by email — your email address, message contents and any attachments you choose to send.
Cookies
DutyPills.com does not set first-party tracking cookies for advertising or behavioural profiling. Strictly necessary cookies may be used for security and basic site functionality. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, a cookie consent banner will be presented to readers in jurisdictions where this is required.
Third-party services
DutyPills.com is hosted by an external infrastructure provider that may process server logs on our behalf. Images are served from our own infrastructure but were originally sourced from Wikimedia Commons; see /credits for full attribution. We do not currently embed third-party advertising or social-media trackers.
Affiliate links to partner pharmacies
Some pages contain links that redirect you to a partner pharmacy. When you follow such a link, the partner — not DutyPills.com — receives your IP address and any further data you choose to provide on their site. Partners operate under their own privacy policies. Following an affiliate link is voluntary; you can read all DutyPills.com content without doing so.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding any personal data DutyPills.com processes about you:
- Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate personal data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data, subject to retention obligations
- Restriction — ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Complaint — lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your jurisdiction
Data retention
Server logs are retained for a limited period (typically 30 to 90 days) and then deleted, unless retention is required for security investigations or legal obligations. Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry, then archived or deleted in line with our records-retention practice.
Children
DutyPills.com is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page indicates when the latest revision took effect. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
