Forms and dosages
Cialis Professional is supplied as 20mg sublingual tablets that should be placed under the tongue and allowed to dissolve completely without swallowing. The recommended dose is one tablet approximately 15 to 30 minutes before planned sexual activity, taken without water. Maximum dosing is one tablet per 24 hours. Eating, drinking and smoking should be avoided for several minutes after dosing to allow full mucosal absorption.
Indications
Cialis Professional is intended for adult men with erectile dysfunction. It is not indicated for women, paediatric patients or men without a clinical diagnosis. According to general prescribing principles for tadalafil, the cardiovascular fitness and current medication list of the patient should be reviewed before use. The 20mg-only presentation is not suited to patients who would normally require lower starting doses for tolerability reasons.
